An early attempt to build a Mobile Processor from the first AMD K7 Core. This mechanical sample was packaged on an OBGA substrate in early 2000. No production CPUs were finally released, probably because of a too high thermal dissipation. AMD launched its first Mobile Athlon in mid-2001, with a better manufacturing process.
