The Dixon Mobile Core, also known as the Mobile Pentium II PE (for "Performance Enhanced") was launched in January 25, 1999. It uses embedded 256 KB of on-die, full speed L2 cache instead of 512 KB of off-die, half-speed cache as found on the older "Tonga" Core. This Engineering Sample clocked at 333 MHz comes within a 240-pin Mini-Cartridge Assembly (MCA) and was built in November, 1998.
