Build with the new 0.18µm process, the Pentium III 667 was announced in October 1999. At the same date, Intel introduced the Coppermine core and released lots of other clocks speeds like 733EB, 700E, 667EB, 650E, 600E, 550E, 533EB and 500E MHz. This particular engineering sample come with the cA2 stepping and was produced in late August of 99, two months before the official launch.
